Social Distancing - 03/19/2020

When

diseases are spreading in a community, reduce how big the

outbreak can get by practicing and encouraging social distancing.

Stay at least 6 feet away from each other, especially if someone may

be sick. Coughs and sneezes can travel this distance, and their

droplets may contain a virus . H ere are a few tips for things to avoid

outside of work:

• Crowded parks

• Play dates

• Any large group gathering

• Malls and crowded stores

• Visitors

• Mass transit systems

Earlier this week, we sent out a communication regarding safe

practices in the workplace that we want to reiterate. You can

practice social distancing at work by

• Avoiding shaking hands

• Eating at your desk or away from others

• Using phone, email or other chat options to conduct business

when possible

• Be aware of commonly touched surfaces such as door handles,

water stations, and coffee station/breakroom areas

• Remain at least 6 feet apart from each other
